I have coached 25 years as a Varsity Head Coach at Middlesex High School and Jamestown High School. I started coaching at WVC in 1996 and I have coached every age group in our club and coached some very successful boys teams that qualified for the USAV Boys Junior National Championships.

My coaching philosophy is that the sport of volleyball and team sports in general create a sense of community that not only teaches the individual and team skills of volleyball but more importantly teaches skills that help players compete in life. 

In order to improve a skill it must be demonstrated correctly, and repeated correctly. It is important in developing the skill that the player can make some self assessment of errors and use those errors to acquire a better understanding of the desired outcome. 

A great player rejoices in the success of her teammates as much or more than her own success.
