Rumble FAQs

Q: Where is the Rumble held?
A: Due to the enormity of the tournament, the Rumble is held at various schools and recreation centers throughout the greater Williamsburg area.  See “Rumble Sites” page.

Q: Are you a stay to play tournament?
A: No. See "Lodging" page.

Q: Will there be food concessions?
A: Food concessions will be available at some, but not all sites.

Q: Where can Rumble merchandise be purchased?
A: Apparel concessions will be available at some, but not all sites.

Q: Can we bring coolers into the gyms?
A: No.  Coolers are not allowed in any of the facilities.  Food and beverages (except water bottles for players) are not allowed in the gyms/court areas.

Q: Is there an admission cost for spectators?
A: $20 for the entire tournament, covers all venues and both days. 14 and under no charge when accompanied by a paying adult.

Q: Are there trainers on site?
A: No. We have listed a few of the local medical facilities for your information.

Q: May boys participate?
A: Find following an excerpt (pp35) from the 2018-19 Old Dominion Region Handbook:
Males of ages 13 and under will be allowed to play on a female team of the same age group or higher up to age 14, with no more than 2 males on the court at any time for Old Dominion Region Events.
