Supplemental Tryout

Team eligibility will be based on a players age as of July 1, 2024 for the upcoming season.
While we encourage our players to play at their age level or grade level, whichever is more appropriate based on skill level, exceptions will be made on a case-by-case basis.
18 and Under: Players who were born on or after July 1st, 2005 or are high school students in the twelfth (12th) grade or below during the current academic year and are 19 years of age or younger (born on or after July 1, 2003).
17 and Under: Players who were born on or after July 1, 2006
16 and Under: Players who were born on or after July 1, 2007
15 and Under: Players who were born on or after July 1, 2008
14 and Under: Players who were born on or after July 1, 2009
13 and Under: Players who were born on or after July 1, 2010
12 and Under: Players who were born on or after July 1, 2011
Practices will begin the first week of December 2023. Tournaments to start early January 2024.

*Grassroots is an entry level volleyball program for Junior players focused on basic instruction, technique and understanding of the game. This program introduces players to tournament format mainly through scrimmages against other clubs.
Team fees (tuition) are determined by how many and which tournaments your coach chooses for your team to attend.
All team fees Includes: Tryouts, Practices, Coaches Salaries and Expenses for Practices & All Tournaments, Equipment (Volleyballs, Courts, Nets, Practice Equipment, etc.), Overhead Costs (Administration, Websites, Insurance, Accounting), Online Recruiting Tool for National teams, etc.

Tuition Assistance is offered for need-based families thanks in part from donations from local companies and private individuals as well as WVC's fundraising efforts.
Tuition Assistance applications for the 2024 season are due by September 10th, 2023 for ages 13-18.
If you are 12 & Under, or trying out for our supplemental roster spots in September, tuition assistance applications are due September 19, 2023.
